What our customers say...
"Communication is at the core of any fish buying operation today in the state of Alaska. Our ability to talk to fishermen and direct tender deliveries to the processing plant takes real-time communication.
We have found that we can trust Glentel and Satellite Technical Services for our MSat Satellite Telephone Services. Every day, for over 50 days - during the busy summer salmon season - the backbone of our communication is the Glentel/STS AlaskaNet system.
We have come to rely on quick parts availability and knowledgeable people to get problems dealt with promptly."

"In a word, service. Satellite Technical Services has always provided us with quick, efficient service and parts. When seasons are weeks long you need prompt service and repair where you are, not at a service center in Florida."

"My name is Louis P. Laferriere the Captain of the 171' Crab Catcher Processor Pro Surveyor. I want to tell
the fleet how impressed I'm about the new MSat system with SpaceCom Antenna we have had recently installed by STS.
I worked on a 144' vessel during the summer of 2003 for 4 months, and was continuously bothered by broken
reception when the vessel would swing while on anchor, or was making way on the wrong course. We would need
to change our course or simply live with the poor signal.
The Pro Surveyor never had a signal of less then 40 from the time the vessel departed Seattle up thru the
Inside Passage up to Dixon Entrance. We noticed typical signal strengths between 34 and 36 while transiting Southeast Alaska w/o any signal interruption of any kind.
We had a solid and consistent signal and service through the Inside Passage, as well as the Gulf of Alaska and
Bering Sea.
During the 2003 King Crab season the vessel was fishing just 90 miles from the Russian Far East Coast when the Pro Surveyor would encounter seas to 30 feet with heavy rain and snow. Never were we unable to communicate on our MSat System.
I would highly recommend this antenna, and MSat system as it works for us."
